Because "St Nicholas" was unable to visit us in person this year we went to visit him at a local German town not far from us.
And I couldn't resist adding these snaps of people who were there that locals might recognize.
For our home St Nicholas celebrations, Hannah made these delightful cookies. The boys enjoyed them with a drink of hot chocolate topped with marshmallows.
