Meditate on the Blessed Virgin Mary’s perseverance throughout her life. Think especially of the time after Jesus ascended into heaven. Mary and the apostles gathered in the upper room where Jesus had held the Last Supper. For nine days they persevered in prayer. Then the Holy Spirit descended upon them. Look at the painting by Titian titled “Pentecost”. Write the words “Come O Holy Spirit”
