Sunday a min-Easter

It was on Sunday that Jesus rose from the dead.
Later, the early Christians gathered in homes to
share the Word and communion on the first day of
the week.

Every Sunday is a mini-Easter. The
mystery of Christ’s death and resurrection is
reenacted each time we gather for the Eucharist.

Weekly participation in the Mass is a central
component of what it means to be Catholic.
Without it, we are more susceptible to weakness,
struggle, and emptiness. Each one of us needs the
spiritual nourishment, healing, and strength God
offers us when we gather with the Christian
community at Mass. extraordinaria.
